Grandy Pies cc

The Grandy Pies factory was co-founded in October 1996 by current owner, Andrew Boynton. Andrew is an English chartered accountant who immigrated to South Africa in December 1995.

The factory is a Halaal manufacturer of pies, biscuits, doughnuts, confectionery and muffins. It also distributes samoosas, rusks and rooti bases. The factory workforce numbers 12. Grandy Pies supplies to cash customers and national catering companies. The delivery area includes the Cape Peninsula, Stellenbosch and Paarl.

Grandy Pies is an Exempted Micro Enterprise for B-BBEE purposes. The company is supervised for Halaal purposes by the Islamic Council of South Africa (Certificate number 1156). As part of its quality assurance program, the Grandy Pies factory is subject to independent quarterly hygiene inspections undertaken by Swift Silliker.

The factory shop is open to the public Monday-Friday 07H00-16H30.
