Raise & Lower (Pty) Ltd has been incorporated in 1984 and grown into a Market leader in the Electro Technical Manufacturing Industry for Southern Africa. Our Enclosure Systems are locally designed and manufactured, guided by the requirements of ISO 9000/1/2 and the relevant South African standard specification. Raise & Lower are the stockists and direct importers of the AEG/GE – Low Voltage Switchgear, tele-Monitoring Automation Components, Advanced Energy Thyristor Power Controllers, DUK, Conveyor Belt Monitoring, Devices, MR-Power Factor Correction Systems and many more. We operate from our Premises at No. 46 Radio Road – Alberton North, with an up to date Sheet-steel Fabrication Plant, Zinc – Phosphating Plant and Powder- Coating Facilities. All operations are controlled for quality with a documented Q.A. System in place. Other manufacturing sections are the Welding and Grinding Shop, Electrical Assembly Area followed by Stores and Offices. We are open for Inspection at any time during normal working hours. The majority of our Switchboards have been supplied to the local Electrical Supply Authority (Eskom) Matimba, Majuba, Hendrina, Arnot, Grootvlei, Medupi, Kusile & Gariep. The Mining Industry, (Gold, Platinum, Coal, Manganese, Nickel, Chrome & Iron Ore), Steel(Mittal Evraz, Scaw & Columbus), Water Purification, Air – Pollution, Petro – Chemical, Buildings, Portnet Harbour Cranes, Motor Industry & Metro Rail, The General Manufacturing Industries and other Electrical Supply Companies such as ABB; Alstom; GE; Siemens for various projects.
