With decades’ experience in the removals service industry, both companies were established exclusively in domestic and overseas moving, storage and fine art packing. In 2008 they combined their many years of expertise and knowledge, merging to form Magna-Thomson International Movers.

Today Magna-Thomson in South Africa has offices based in Johannesburg, Durban and Cape Town and a sales office in Pietermaritzburg. We can collect and pack from anywhere in South Africa and have shipped many hundreds of families’ household goods all over the world.

Magna-Thomson is in the business of moving furniture and household effects. We are able to move such consignments within urban areas, from city-to-city within South Africa and worldwide.

Domestic, local and long distance moving is undertaken with our own wholly-owned and operated vehicles. Long distance moves are co-ordinated through our carefully-chosen network of removal specialists, whilst Magna-Thomson manages the complete door-to-door move on your behalf.

With over 30 years of experience in the moving business, our well-deserved reputation is built on an extremely professional and reliable service, which has seen around 40% of our new clients coming to us through recommendations from previous clients.
