The Happy Handwriter

The Happy Handwriter® is your one stop solution for fine motor and handwriting acquisition. It publishes, develops and distributes specific resources for the development of fine motor skills for handwriting in the pre-school and foundation phase child. These materials developed and sourced by an occupational therapist specialising in the area of fine motor skills and handwriting, are in a reachable format for both the parent at home who is wishing to assist their child, as well as for the teacher in the classroom working on these critical foundational handwriting skills with children from the techno age. Research has shown the definitive link between fine motor skills in pre-school and reading and maths achievement in the second grade. In addition, it is the pillar for writing and composition, which is one of the critical goals in the primary school years.
