Astro Brake: Brake Discs

At Astro Brakes we supply and fit Brake Discs on cars and bakkies as well as on commercial vehicles. Brake Disc Skimming is an alternative to fitting new brakes and it is more affordable as well. Our technicians will first check whether there is any serious wear or damage that may disqualify the Brake Discs from the skimming process. It is recommended that they are replaced with a new set if they are damaged or worn beyond repair.

It is important to take note of the state of your car’s brake discs. If you notice that the surface is rusty or it feels springy or you hear a whistling sound when you brake then you need to get it checked.
